The Edmonton Oilers once again staved off elimination in the fifth game of the Stanley Cup Final on Tuesday night, defeating the Florida Panthers 5-3 at Rogers Place. From the brink of elimination, the Oilers cruised to their third straight win to force Game 7.
The Oilers were led by Connor McDavid, who had a goal and an assist. Leon Draisaitl also scored a goal and added two assists. Zach Hyman and Evan Bouchard each had a goal and an assist.
The Panthers were led by Aleksander Barkov, who had a goal and an assist. Jonathan Huberdeau and Sam Reinhart each had a goal.
The Oilers will host the Panthers in Game 7 on Friday night at Rogers Place.
